What is Occupational Therapy (OT)?

Occupational therapy is the process of helping people engage in activities that are meaningful to them, also known as their occupations. Children's occupations include playing, working, school, socializing, growing, learning, and interacting with the world around them. At times, these can become difficult, but occupational therapy can help! OT sessions at Good Nature Therapy are strength-based and child-led to support success in their occupations as well as the development of motor skills, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and independence.

What is Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)?

Speech-Language Pathology is the process of helping children communicate through assessment, diagnosis and treatment of communication, language and swallowing disorders. Our speech therapy sessions focus on connection, child centered, strengths based activities that develop skills that support success in a child’s communication in daily life.
